Bilha Lapid
Resume
My name is Bilha Lapid, born in Argentina and emigrated to Israel as a child. I went to school at Mikve Israel. Following this, I was trained as a youth leader, a field I was involved in for many years to come, including as a counselor trainer, activities coordinator, guidance and supervision. I am a graduate of the Tel Aviv University School of Education, and have furthered my education with courses the cinema in education, graphology and diagnosis through childrens' drawings, musicology and psychology in the Israeli Open University.
I studied art at the Ramat Hasharon Art College and have done some work in this field with the mentally impaired.
I studied painting in the Edwards' method (both drawing and painting) with teacher Smadar Katz of Tel Aviv. For several years I learned from and painted with teacher Hana Nave of Gedera (drawing, painting, composition and colouring). In addition, I have been involved in extra-curricular cultural activity for various segments of the population. In recent years I planned and implemented guidance and activity programs in local art galleries. These days I am active in a Latin-American folklore choir, which is committed to the preservation and spread of that culture for the benefit of the community.
