Born in Aleppo, Syria. Immigrated to Israel in 1960.
Studied with the following artists: Yehudith Har-Even, Edwin Solomon, Shlomo Vitkin and Aharon Alkalai. Also attended advanced studied in graphic design at the Israeli Institutes for Technology and the Artists Institute, BatYam.

Member of the Artists and Sculptors Association in Israel. Since 1996, has also served as Chairman of the Artists and Sculptors Association, Bat Yam. Management Member of Hatanach Museum.

Graphic designer and illustrator. Draws artistic illustrations of Aleppo heritage. Engages in Judaica on the "Aleppo Codex". His works are included in numerous collections in Israel and abroad.

Paints in the impressionistic-expressive style, colorist with personal calligraphy. Uses diverse themes, including the Song of Songs, Yemenite Wedding, music, Israeli landscape and Judaica. Draws fabulous artistic "Ketubahs" (Jewish marriage contracts) according to the Halacha.

Prizes

Arad Prize for "Pessach Haggadah" (Aleppo Haggadah) painting displayed at the Internal Book Fair in Jerusalem.
